The organization needed assistance in determining which processes from the two merging entities would be the preferred process and understand what changes would be required to move from the current state to the desired future state.

Actions:

• Managed  and facilitated the operational integration of two large reinsurance companies by identifying best practice process solutions in the areas of Finance Underwriting and Claims.  Merger activities included:
  • Implementing new operating procedures
  • Identifying and communicating system requirements
  • Facilitating organizational changes through procedure documentation, facilitated working sessions and process assurance
  • Creating and executing a transition communication plan
